Ole Slewfoot
Grandpa Don was always such a carefree and loving person. Some of my fondest memories of him are when he would sing to all his grandchildren a song called "Ole Slewfoot" By June Carter. For most of my childhood I thought it was a song he had made up and would just sing around the house for fun. Whenever my family drove up to Oregon for a visit, Grandpa would always sing that song to me and I would laugh and think, "silly grandpa". He was always such a fun person full of energy. He will be greatly missed.
