Donald Lee Parsons was born to June and Carol Parsons December 24th, 1950. He passed away doing what he loved, on May 28th, 2018. Don was by all measures a great man. He was a dedicated friend; a devoted father to Donella, Joshua, and Johnny; a doting grandfather to 8 wonderful grandchildren; and a loving brother to 5 sisters Eunice, Carol Ann, Nellie, Barbara, and Debra. He was a dedicated hard worker and a tradesmen in multiple fields. Early in his life he worked in the lumber industry progressing to log yard inventory manager and saw filer. As equipment operator he drove numerous types of heavy equipment. As he explored the country Don spent some time working in Colorado and then Arizona. In Tucson he join a team that manufactured high tech plasma equipment that he was directly involved with the installation of systems across the world. He made friends along the way. Don cared for everyone who came into his life, giving everything he had to anyone he could. He was fiercely loyal, honest and trustworthy. Don was not only compassionate with people, but particularly animals, having loved many pets that he had throughout his life Isabel was a cat that he was specifically fond of. Don was a very positive person and exceptionally witty; he was able to find humor anywhere he turned and made others see it as well. He touch the hearts of so many folks, he will be truly missed by all.
