Kay Ellen Riegel

Kay Riegel passed away June 30, 2018 at her residence in Marana Az.  She was born in Superior Wisconson on April 15th, 1936, the daughter of Clyde and Ellen Baumgartner.  She moved with her family to Arizona in 1947.  She was preceeded in death by her husband of almost 55 years Jack Riegel. She is survived by 2 daughters, Karen (Mike) Thompson and Bonny Pearson.  She had 3 grandchildren, Daniel (Janie) Thompson, Jackie Thompson and Jacob Pearson.  One great grandchild Brenton Fought.  Three brothers Gene (Shirley) Baumgartner, Butch (Carol) Baumgartner, Rory (Kris) Baumgartner and 1 sister, Sue (George) Lawson also many nieces and nephews.

She was a very strong and independent lady with a strong love for her family.  Christmas was her favorite time of year as she enjoyed baking and making every family member's favorite goodies.  This past year she was robbed of the ability to do this as Alzheimer's took that away from her.

We will miss her and hold her close in our hearts.

A special thank you to Casa De La Luz Hospice for thier help.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
