Obituary for Betty Lou DuPont

BETTY LOU DUPONT

With great sadness and broken hearts we announce the death of our precious mother Betty Lou Dupont on April 21, 2018 at 91 years young. She has made her way to her heavenly home where Jesus and all her loved ones were waiting at the pearly gates with open arms. Preceded in death by her husband the love of her life Walter Dupont. Mother Corine Willingham, Father T.C. Carter. Brothers Bill Maupin, Danny Willingham. Sisters Helen Donaway and Carolyn Vavra. Grandson Todd E Mitchell. Son in laws Robert E. Meeker and Larry E Mitchell and numerous loving family members. Survived by her children that she raised as a single mom. Sheri Gibbs (Jake), Connie Meeker, Rick Cole (Gail), Ron Cole (Lynn), Debbie Cole and Pam Dawkins, brothers Richard and Yogi Willingham and Sister-in-law Liz Maupin, 14 grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Plus many loving nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and special friends.

We were so blessed to have such a wonderful loving praying mother that stayed on her knees in prayer to insure that all her children and those to come would get saved. We will forever love and miss our precious mother. But we believe God's word that one day we shall be reunited with her and all our loved ones in heaven never to be separated again. What a glorious day that will be.

A MOTHERS LOVE
"A mother's love is something that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may.
For nothing can destroy it or or take that love away,
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking,
It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems ,
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, And it still
remains a secret like the mysteries of creation, A many
splendored miracle man cannot understand And another wondrous
evidence of God's tender guiding hand."

Memorial services will be held Saturday May 5, 2018, 11:00 am in Adair Funeral Home, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., Tucson, AZ with Scott Braun and Gail Cole officiating.
