Obituary for Rosanna Melvina "Rosie" Werner (Tramel)
GREEN VALLEY, AZ, Rosanna Melvina Werner, “Rosie,” (Tramel), age 67, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. She was a graduate of Dollarway High School (Pine Bluff, Arkansas) in 1968, and attended the University of Arizona (Tucson). Rosanna dedicated more than 20 years with the Pima County Assessor’s Office as a Senior Drafter/Cartographer. Rosanna volunteered with the Make a Wish Foundation and was always eager to help those in need. Affectionately known as “Gran,” her passions were lovingly focused on her children and grandchildren. Rosanna never missed a loved one’s sporting event, recital, or any opportunity for an encouraging moment. Always one to adventure and travel, she was eager to see new places, visit family and friends, and meet new people. In the summer of 2017, Rosanna experienced her life-long dream of visiting and touring Scotland with her sisters and granddaughter. Her many talents included being a very enthusiastic videographer, a welcoming and warm heart to anyone, and an encouraging and positive inspiration to those around her. Rosanna’s genuine unconditional love for all that knew her will be cherished and remembered. She has been a blessing to our lives and will continue to touch countless hearts in spirit.
Rosanna is preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Tramel, her mother, Anne Tramel (Bruce) , brother, Alec Tramel, and grandson Preston Werner (Marcus and Judi). She is survived by her son, Marcus Werner and wife Judi, children Brandon, Catherine, and Ella; son, Scott Werner and wife Brenda, and children Mackenzie and Madisyn; James Werner and children Finn and Amity; stepchildren Shelly England and husband Derick, children Randi, Tyler, Colton, and Aaron; Sherri Hawkins, and daughter Kari; Eric Werner and wife Connie, and children Steffan and Laura Belle.
Services will be held Saturday October 7, at 2 p.m. at Adair Funeral Home, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations in the name of Rosanna Werner would be appreciated to Make a Wish Foundation, 2901 N. 78th St. Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
