It is with our deepest sorrow and grief that on October 23, 2018, the Lord chose to take our beloved mother, June Anderson (94) to join her husband of almost 70 years, Arthur L. Anderson, and be reunited forever in heaven.
She is survived by her four children of Tucson, Arizona: Michael (Susan) Anderson, Mark (Diane) Anderson, Roger Anderson and Anita (Anderson) Squires, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren, her rescue cat Snookie and her rescue dog Murphy, most of whom were present and surrounded her with love upon her passing.
A private memorial ceremony will be performed at East Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers and because our mother was an avid animal lover, the family is requesting that donations be made to either Pima County Care Center (PACC) in Tucson or the Human Society of Southern Arizona in Tucson on her behalf.
She was a wonderful, loving, supportive mother who devoted her life to her children and will be greatly missed by our entire family. We will cherish the memories and continue the legacy she has left behind to make her proud. Our light, our life, our love for always. She will be in our hearts forever.
