Elizabeth Marie "Liz"  Ulibarri
Mrs Elizabeth “Liz” “Chata” Ulibarri (née Hernandez) died unexpectedly in Tucson on June 5th in Tucson, AZ at the age of 65.

Liz is survived by daughters Angela Plank (Jody) and Stephanie Ulibarri, son Frank Ulibarri (Meagan), grandsons Austin and Remington Ulibarri, granddaughters Alana, Olive and Stella Ulibarri, brothers Ruben (Ramona), Robert (Dora), Louis, Guadalupe, Joe Hernandez and sisters Hortensia Tanner, Esperanza Matus (Manny), Margaret Archuleta (Leo), Katie Valuenzula, several nieces and nephews, and cousins who loved her immensely. Liz is preceded in death by husband Harold Ulibarri, son Wesley Ulibarri, parents,and brother John Hernandez.

Liz was born on July 7, 1952 in Wilcox to Guadalupe and Hortencia Hernandez. She married Harold Ulibarri, the boy across the street in 1970. They had four children together, enjoying every moment. Liz loved spending time with her five grandchildren. She obtained her GED and worked as an LPN while working towards her RN associates degree. Liz loved being a nurse and helping her patients as well as training others about her profession.

A Rosary/Wake is scheduled for Thursday, June 14th at Adair Funeral Homes- Avalon Chapel 8090 N Northern Ave, Oro Valley, AZ 85704 a mass is scheduled for Friday, June 15th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 8650 N Shannon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85742 with a procesion to Holy Hope Cemetery 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705 with a reception at Morgan McDermott American Legion Post 7 330 W. Franklin St, Tucson, AZ 85701. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Liz’s life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Adair Funeral Home.
