WELCH, Lydia "Lil" M. "Junior" 91, a native Tucsonan died May 2, 2018. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph and son, Bill. Survived by son, Roy and fiancé Mona Wright; sisters, Delia and Maria; grandchildren, Dylan and Hannah Welch Mayfield; daughter-in-law, Denise Welch and numerous nieces and nephews. As we mourn her death we remember Lydia as a loving and compassionate person who cherished family and friends. Her sense of humor will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed. A Mass will be held at Our Mother of Sorrow Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018, with a reception to follow.
