Obituary for Ernesto Sirvas
Ernesto Sirvas, 90, of Tucson, passed away on Feb 5, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 23, 1927 to Manuel and Rosa Bello. He epitomized the American dream, rising from extreme poverty in Peru to earning a Master’s degree in Geology from Indiana University and being an All-American soccer player by 1960. Ernesto is survived by his loving bride of 57 years, Judith, three children, and six grandchildren. A Visitation and Rosary will be held at Adair Funeral Home, Thursday, February 7, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Tucson, AZ. Burial will take place immediately following in All Faiths’ Memorial Park, Our Lady of the Desert.
